Patricia Marie Bowen

Patricia Bowen, age 76, died March 29, 2014 at Alderwood Park Convalescent Center in Bellingham. She was born February 18, 1938 in Bellingham to Stanley and Margaret Quinn. Patty married Harold Bowen in 1968. Some of Patty’s cherished moments were dinner out, visiting with all of her family, watching sports on TV and daily coffee with her best friend Edna Varang. While at Alderwood Park for the last 11 years, Patty enjoyed playing Bingo, attending church services and visiting with friends and family. She participated in as many activities as she could. She had a great personality and was loved by all who met her. Patty was preceded in death by her husband Harold, infant daughter Mary Margaret, brother Tom, sister Barbie, and sister-in-law Dolores. She is survived by daughter Charlotte (Tim) Meese and Charlotte’s children Kieann, Wyatt and Owen, great-grandson Weston, son Steve (Honey) Bowen and their daughters Emily and Chryzanna, sister Carole Quinn and her children Belinda, Jan, Kristi, Lori and Dan, brother Steve Quinn and his children Lori, Melanie and Stan, brother-in-law Jerry Jatterholm, and many loving relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Alderwood Park and Patty’s doctor, Elli Johnston, for their loving care. A Vigil Service will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 7 PM on Thursday, April 3. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 12:10 PM on Friday, April 4. A reception will follow at the Church. Committal will follow at Bayview Cemetery.
