Patricia J. Button

Patricia Button, age 81 of Bellingham passed away Monday, May 5, 2014. Pat was born May 28, 1932 in Bellingham, WA to Napoleon and Lucille (Ford) Perry. She married Ronnie Button on Feb. 14, 1953 in Bellingham. Quilting was a favorite hobby of Pat’s. She belonged to three quilting guilds, and made them for charitable organizations and her family. Pat also loved making and flying kites, researching genealogy, and gardening. Pat was a member of the Heritage Society in Ferndale and served as a Pioneer Park tour guide. For many years Pat and Ron enjoyed motor homing around the country, especially the desert southwest. She was smart, outgoing and loved meeting new people. Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie, sons Mike (Diane) and Gary (Melynnda), daughter Chris of Whatcom County, grandchildren Sarah (Bryn) and their son Caleb, Merannda (Ben) and their son Brett, Mekala, Kaitlyn, Jesse, Madisen and Emily, sister-in-law Sheila, and many loving family members and friends. Memorials may be made to Whatcom Hospice. Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home from 3-5 PM on Monday, May 12. A Celebration of Patricia’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 13. Reception following.
