Pat shared his passion for science education with countless aspiring teachers, most recently at WWU, Allentown College in Pennsylvania, Saint Martin’s College in Lacey, Assumption School, and even in Swaziland, Africa. He was a pioneer in bringing computers into the classroom. With his family, ‘Dad’ and ‘Papa’ shared his passions for Christmas, camping, biking, Disneyland, spaghetti with meatballs, Big Mac’s, magic tricks and poker. He had a gift for photography where he captured moments with his family and the natural beauty that surrounded him. Running was a solitary pleasure that helped to keep him going through much of his long illness in his later years. Pat was a devout Roman Catholic and shared his faith by living as an example. Pat is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joan McIntyre, and his loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Assumption at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 7th.
