Patty L. Watson

Patty Watson, age 89 of Bellingham passed away peacefully on September 15, 2021. She was born February 14, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa to Lester and Maude Wambsgans. In 1952 she married Cecil Watson and they had two children, Bob and Kathie. Cecil and Patty had a wonderful and strong marriage for decades. She enjoyed bingo, antiques and had an extensive collection of figurines. In her later years, she enjoyed playing tag with her special friend “Little Man”, Mason. Patty had a strong faith and attended a number of churches, most recently Good Shepherd. She was a source of wise advice and support to her children and grandchildren. Patty will be remembered for her lovely smile, her good sense of humor, and her easygoing and cheerful personality. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil and son Bob. Patty is survived by her daughter Kathie Watson-Gray, MD (husband Tim), granddaughters, Racheal, Mary (husband Devin) and Katelynn, great-grandchildren Elvin “Peewee”, Dontez and Khaliya, brother Les “Dale”, nieces Cheryl and Patsy, nephews Sonny, Teddy, David, and Terry, very special great-niece and devoted caregiver, Kelly, and many loving family and friends. Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Monday, September 20th from 11am-1pm followed by a 2pm Graveside Service at Enterprise Cemetery in Ferndale.
