Peter Herbert Pattridge

Peter Herbert Pattridge died at his home on November 1, 2015 in Bellingham, WA. He was born in Peking, China on August 10, 1935, the only child of Adelaide (Eastman) and Herbert Bosch van Drakestein. After his mother divorced and remarried, Peter used his stepfather’s surname. Peter was a graduate of the Cate School in Carpinteria, CA and George Washington University in Washington, D. C. His career of government service began in 1963 at the U.S. Department of Agriculture; then moving to the Department of Labor, and finally to the Department of State until his retirement.
