Phyllis “Phyl” M. Bradbury, age 96, of Bellingham, WA passed away on Sept. 25, 2016. Phyllis was born to Edgar and Amelia Noden in Vancouver, B.C. on June 23, 1920.
Phyllis met her husband Victor at a wartime dance in Vancouver and they married on September 10, 1943. Trips to Keats Island, Deep Cove and their love of dancing filled their early years. In the late 50’s, a summer home at Birch Bay provided Phyllis the opportunity to enjoy a new love of golf. When she and Victor moved to Bellingham in 1991, they became long time members of the Bellingham Golf and Country Club. Their travels to Hawaii, Palm Springs, Harrison Hot Springs and Mesa included good friends and good times spent dancing and golfing.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her siblings Amy Coridor, Edith Crosato, and Gordon Noden. She is survived by her husband Victor; daughters Susan (Brian) Hagan and Vicki Bradbury; grandchildren Jordan “Jody” (Mary) McColman, Meghan (Mary) Loudon, Matthew (Jacqui) Dybwad, Scott Dybwad; great-grandchildren Lauren and Jeremy Dybwad, Emerson and Charlotte Loudon, and many loving relatives and friends.
