Phyllis Davis

Phyllis Carol Davis, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 28, 2012 in Bellingham. Phyllis was the wife of Dr. Vincent Davis, who passed away in 2010. Phyllis was born March 27, 1923 in Hoquiam, WA to Fenton and Lessie Earnest. She married Dr. Vincent Davis on September 4, 1943 in Longview, WA. She was a loving and supportive wife to her husband Vince over his 50 year career as an Orthodontist in Bellingham. Phyllis was known for her beautiful smile, which she maintained right until the end of her life. After Vincent died, Phyllis moved to Mt. Baker Care Center and received tremendous love and compassion, which prolonged her life and her smile for the next 2 1/2 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Vincent Davis, sons Stephen Davis and Craig Davis. She is survived by her son Vincent Davis, Jr., grandchildren Joe (Emily) Davis, Allahna Davis, Sarah Davis, Andrew Davis, Geoff Davis and Stephenie Davis, 5 great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law Jennifer Lucas and Christine Davis, brother Robert (Elsie) Earnest and many loving relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 31 from 1-3 PM. A graveside service will be held at Greenacres Cemetery will on Thursday, November 1 at 12:30 PM.
