Phyllis L. Harder passed away November 2, 2012 in Lynden. She was born May 8, 1932 in Calgary, AB, to Steven and Thelma Murphy. Phyllis graduated from Mission High School in Mission, B.C. She married Robert Harder on July 7, 1951 and they made their home in Everson, WA. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ken, Jim and Pat Murphy and sister Louise Holmes. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert, daughter Tammy (Rob) Pack, son Tim (Nancy) Harder, grandchildren Dawn Pack, Kelly (Chris) Gapinski, Shelly Harder and Cory Harder. Great-grandchildren Kaden and Payton. Sister Doreen (Brent) Nielsen, sisters-in-law Irene Murphy and Patsy Harder, brothers-in-law Dave Harder and Dick Aitkins. In her free time she enjoyed shopping, doing crafts, and cooking for her family and friends. She was involved with the Orthopedic Guild. In their retirement years she enjoyed travelling to all 50 states with her husband. She will be greatly missed by all of us. We would like to thank the staff of Christian Health Care Center for the great care they provided for mom. A Memorial gathering will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Thursday, November 8th at 1 PM followed by a reception at the home of Tim and Nancy Harder, 6991 Mission Road in Everson.
