Raymond Isakson

Born in Opheim, MT to Joseph and Verna (Stellflug) Isakson on January 4, 1937, Ray passed away in Bellingham, WA on September 15, 2022. After graduation from Opheim High School, he was married to Jacklyn Chandler. A proud veteran, Ray served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1962. He retired from Intalco after 20+ years. He was predeceased by his wife Jacklyn, son Dan and Dan’s wife Julie, daughter Jackie’s longtime companion Alan, and brothers Alvin, Marvin, and Clifford. Survivors include his daughter Jacklyn Isakson, son Doug (wife Yvonne) Isakson, grandsons Michael, Brian and QuVonte, great-grandson Carey, sisters Lorraine and Mildred, and many loving relatives and friends. A celebration of life service will be held at American Legion Post #7 on Sunday, October 2nd at 1 PM, followed by a dessert reception. Memorial donations may be made in Ray’s name to the American Legion Post # 7.
