Richard “Dick” Gulick aged 91 of Bellingham, WA, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025.
Dick was born on January 4, 1934, in Blaine, WA to Carl and Elaine Gulick. He graduated from Bellingham High School in 1952, then joined the Air Force and served in Korea. In 1956, Dick married Irma Tesar.
Dick held jobs in the lumber industry as a millwright working for R.G. Haley Lumber Co. and Brooks Lumber Company.
He loved the Seahawks, Mariners, and fishing on the banks of the Nooksack River. Although, he was happiest when he was spending time with his family.
Dick is survived by his wife of 69 years, Irma; three children, Debra (Mark) Emmons, Richard (Jessica) Valentine, and Ryan (Nicolle) Gulick; three grandchildren, Rory Emmons, Dayana Fairchild, and Presley Gulick; one great-grandson, Cillian Emmons; along with many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, January 21st, at Westford Funeral Home (1301 Broadway) followed by a reception. Dick will be laid to rest at Greenacres Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bellingham Food Bank.
