Robert G. Reed

Robert G. Reed, of Bellingham, WA, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017, surrounded by his family. Bob was 89, born in Kooskia, Idaho on March 11, 1928 to Glen and Pearl (Pixley) Reed. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard, for twenty years and retired a Boatswain Mate First Class and was an avid outdoorsman. Bob is survived by his wife June of 68 years; sons, Randal, Robert, and Richard (wife Norma) Reed; daughters, Shelly (husband Kent) Butenschoen and Brenda Longton; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother Ronald (wife Darlene) Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews including niece Moria Zimbecki.
