Robert A. Strahl

Bob Strahl, age 76, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2017 in Carlsbad, CA. He was born June 11, 1941 in Tacoma, WA, to Bud and Doris Strahl. Bob graduated from Bellingham High School and worked as an investment advisor. He loved his work and truly cared for his clients. He was upbeat, energetic and had a great sense of humor. Bob will be remembered for his sincere interest in others and his ability to make you feel special. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his companion for the last 20 years, Nina Kay, children Michael (wife Jill) Strahl, Julie (husband Bob) Schmitz and Gregory Strahl, brother Richard (wife Madeleine) Strahl, sister Diane Button, former wife Cheri Walsh, and many loving relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at Bayview Cemetery, 1420 Woburn St. in Bellingham, on Friday, October 13th at 11 AM. A reception will follow at Moles Bayview Chapel.
