Ronald George Beers
April 13, 1942 — December 18, 2016
Ronald George Beers, Sr., passed away on December 18th, 2016 at age 74. He passed holding his youngest daughter Naomi’s hand and was delivered into Heaven with a bright red Christmas bow.
If you asked his friends and family what they would remember about him they might tell you his sleeveless shirts or his baseball cap filled with his favorite pins and fish hooks. But what we will remember most about Ron is his laugh, his kind heart, and his infectious smile.
He is survived by his wife Betty, who he married in 1998, his three children; son Ronald, Jr., daughter Tonia Shaw (Robert) and daughter Naomi Zender (Matthew); grandkids Danielle (Allen), Anthony (Chelle), Amber, Allyssa, Taylor, Ericka (Gus), Takiley, and Jessica; great-grandkids Christian, Aadyn, Gavin, Payton, Tucker, George, Landen and an unborn baby girl, and honorary granddaughter Megan Bayless. He was preceded in passing by his first love and wife Bonnie, his parents Calvin and Lillian, sister Bobbie, Uncle Quentin and Aunt Lolita Peterson, and nephew Ricky.
A memorial gathering will be held Friday, February 24th at 11 AM at Broadway Hall, 1300 Broadway. Please join us and share in all of the memories we were blessed to have with Ron.
