“Uncle Ron” died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at home in Bellingham. He was born on February 27, 1934 in Port Gamble, WA to William and Florence Knittler. Ron is survived by his sister Delores Sloan, nieces Heidi Stewart and her daughters Shaylene and Tiffany, Holly Sloan, Joleen Kelleher, nephew Phillip (wife Katie) Kelleher and their daughter Ailia, and many loving relatives and friends. Ron always said “remember me with laughter or don’t remember me at all.” Well, Uncle Ron, we will remember you and you will be deeply missed. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bellingham at 12:10 PM on Tuesday, March 26th. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
