Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Ronald M. Langwell, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Ron was 78, born in Kansas City, KS on March 4, 1938 to Carl and Sylvia (Young) Langwell. He married Betty Burress on March 4, 1960 in Beaver, OR. He worked in management for Safeway, Reser’s Fine Foods in Beaverton, OR and Versacold Cascade in Lynden, WA.
After retirement he enjoyed driving for Carter’s Courier Service. Ron was known for his integrity, his tremendous love for his family, and his great sense of humor. He loved meeting new people and never met a stranger. He was a devoted Christian and thoroughly enjoyed reading God’s Word.
Ron was preceded in death by his son Darin, brother Lindy and sisters Edna, Marnell and Nadine. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Betty, sons Randy and Corey Langwell, grandchildren Jynelle (Jake), Joshua and Kaytlyn, great-grandsons Rylan and Logan, brothers Loren and Jack, and many loving relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at Immanuel Bible Church, 2000 West North St. in Bellingham at 1 PM on Saturday, September 10th. Reception following.
