Rose Marie Rogers, age 87, passed away on June 15, 2011. She was born April 17, 1924 in Harvey, Illinois to Walter and Frieda Reely. In her early years, Rose worked at an airplane factory to earn a living. She enjoyed swimming and was involved in many singing groups, but her passion in life was dancing. Rose danced all the way up to age 83 and was well known for knowing her way around the dance floor. She made friends everywhere she went and always said what was on her mind. Rose loved a good joke and always knew how to have a laugh. She is survived by her two sons Gary (Mary) Olson, and Larry Olson, her brother Walter Reely, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Rose’s family is planning on celebrating her life together later this August.
