Ruth Aasheim

Ruth Aasheim, age 89 of Bellingham, WA went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 1, 2016. Ruth was born in Wolf Point, MT to Lorents and Andrea (Ryan) Aasheim on October 15, 1926.
After graduating from Bellingham High in 1944, she attended Lutheran Brethren Bible School. Ruth worked in several different business offices in Bellingham and Seattle in years past. Ruth was active with Bethel Lutheran Brethren for most of her life and enjoyed playing piano and singing with her brother at church services. She volunteered for many years with the Salvation Army.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Lloyd Aasheim. She is survived by her sister Lilly Flugekvam, nieces and nephews; Joy, Luanne, Nadine, Andrea, Steven, Paul, Brenda, and Rachel, and numerous other relatives and friends.
At Ruth’s request, all memorials may be given to Lutheran Brethren International Mission, P.O. Box 655, Fergus Falls, MN 56538.
Services will be announced at a later date.
