Ruth Bird

Ruth was the mother of Karen (and Joe) Williams and their 8 children Tiffany, Britney, Sharley, Brady, Juliette, Jeremiah, Jeremy and Jasmine; who were members of the Ferndale 2nd Ward in Bellingham. Ruth passed away at age 80 on August 30, 2011 in Arlington, WA. She was born on June 4, 1931 in Bozeman, MT. Ruth served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. She has been a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has been active in genealogy and temple work. She was a member of the Bellingham 1st Ward. She has been a dedicated and loving mother to her four sons and two daughters. Ruth made many friends while living at the Woodrose Apartments in Bellingham from 2004 to 2008. She has since resided in Arlington and been a member of the Arlington 3rd Ward. Ruth’s children are Lee (Rin) Bird, Dan (Debbie) Bird, Terry Bird, Tim Bird, Pennie (Tim) Hale, and Karen (Joe) Williams. Ruth has 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Sept. 8, 2011; Viewing from 5:30-6:30 pm followed by a 7 pm Funeral Service at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8351 Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington, WA 98223.
