Ruth Hewitt, age 99 of Bellingham passed away January 1, 2013. She was born September 23, 1913 in Seattle, WA to Samuel and Alda Erwin. Ruth was a talented pianist and an excellent cook. She worked for years at a dress shop in Bellingham. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Bellingham Yacht Club and the Bellingham Golf & Country Club. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd in 2007. She is survived by many loving relatives and friends. A graveside gathering will be held at Greenacres Cemetery in Ferndale at 1 PM on Wednesday, January 9th.
