Ruth Zornes, age 89 of Bellingham, passed away February 1, 2011. She was born Sept. 23, 1921 in Priest River, ID to Charles and Novella Randall.
The three most important things in Ruth’s life were her career as a Realtor, her life as a believer, and her role as a mother. Ruth was passionate about Real Estate, and worked as an agent, broker, educator, and eventually business owner at Overland Realty in Culver City, California and later Red Carpet Realty in Bellingham. Her faith was always central to her life, and she was an active member of Birchwood Presbyterian Church. As a mother, Ruth was a devoted, supportive, and proud mother of her three children; Richard, Bob and Charlene.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Novella Randall and Katherine Parker-Randall; her husband Chuck Zornes in 2005; and her sister Lucy Shaw. Ruth is survived by her children Richard Zornes (Penny), Bob Delle (Linda), Charlene Canter; grandchildren Mark, Matthew, James, Karen, Jonathon, Melissa, and Nicholas; 15 great-grandchildren; brother Chuck Randall (Doris); and sisters Arlie Jean Payne (Edgar) and Joy Peterson.
A Celebration of Ruth’s Life will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Saturday, February 12th, 2011 at 3 PM.
