Sarah Frances Baisden, age 20 of Deming, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011. She was born December 3, 1990 in Mt. Vernon, WA to Rob Baisden and Susan Schaar. She grew up in Deming and graduated from Mt. Baker High School in 2009. While at MBHS Sarah loved being involved with the FFA, had a tremendous presence at many school sports and activities, and was the senior prom queen. She attended Eastern Washington University for 2 years on an Honors scholarship. While at Eastern she minored in Spanish, was on the Dean’s list, and spent her summers working at Premier Agendas in Bellingham. Sarah had a spirit that will never be forgotten. Her overflowing love for family and close friends now provides comfort for the many mourning the loss of her beautiful life. Sarah was always a friend first and had an incredible way with words. She will be forever remembered for her wisdom, advice, humor, creativity and love of learning. Sarah touched the lives people all around the country and her impact on the local community will be everlasting. Sarah is survived by her father Rob Baisden, mother Susan Schaar, sister Katie Baisden, grandparents Bob (wife Wilna) Baisden, John (wife Cheryl) Schaar, Lynne (husband Jim) Kinnunen, and a loving extended family. A Celebration of Sarah’s life will be held at the Mt. Baker High School Auditorium on Wed., Sept. 21st at 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 6210 Mt. Baker Highway, on Thurs., Sept. 22nd at 11 AM followed by a reception at the church. Memorials may be made to the Mt.
