Sheila Jean Campbell Randall, age 92, died peacefully on December 5, 2018, in Bellingham. She was born August 9, 1926, in Tacoma, Washington to John and Joan Campbell. She graduated from the University of Washington School of Nursing in 1951. While working in San Francisco, she met Thomas Randall. They were married in 1955 in Tacoma. Tom was a naval aviator, and they lived in Texas, California, and Hawaii. In 1969, they moved to Bellingham. There Sheila worked as a Registered Nurse for the Whatcom County Health Department and later for the
Bellingham School District. After retirement, she and Tom wintered in Palm Springs.
She was an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, where she belonged to the St. Anne’s Guild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tom in 2011. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Jon) Pollard of Juneau, Alaska and her three grandchildren Michael (Holly) Pollard, Katie (Sergie) Trubnikov, and Will Pollard; brother Ron (Vera) Campbell; and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The memorial service will be Wednesday, December 12, 2108, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Bellingham, Washington, with a light reception to follow.
