Sherwood Brown Jr.

Sherwood Brown Jr., age 59, passed away unexpectedly on March 16, 2023. He was born on May 15, 1963 in Illinois. The Chicago native found his home in the state of Washington in the town of Blaine. Living in an environment like Washington was his childhood dream. It was only natural then that he traded the inner city of Chicago for the PNW mountains, Evergreen trees that could tower Chicago’s skyscrapers, the ocean teeming with whales, crabs, oysters, and fish, peaceful waterfalls, clear blue sky, and bright stars illuminating the night. He reveled in witnessing all of God's creation in real-time! Oh, how he loved it here!! Full of love, laughter, kindness, and joy, Sherwood never met a stranger. Everyone became a friend.
His father Sherwood Brown Sr. and brother Anthony preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother Emelda Hall, sisters Marie and Deanna, his remaining brother Martin, nieces Jewel and Jordan Marie, and nephews James, Martin Jr, and Anthony, along with a beautiful host of aunts, cousins, and friends to mourn his absence. He loved his family dearly.
A memorial service will be held for Sherwood Brown Jr. on Friday, April 7, 2023, at noon at Westford Funeral Home in Bellingham.
