Shirley Ann Butenschoen

Shirley Butenschoen, age 96, passed away peacefully on January 29,2022. She married the love of her life, George W. Butenschoen, on October 26, 1944 in Milbank, South Dakota.
Shirley and George dedicated their entire lives to their large and loving family. She enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother, and also enjoyed helping others, travelling and family gatherings. Shirley was a loving, faithful, and a devoted woman. She was preceded in death by her husband George, infant son Matthew, son George “Mick”, granddaughter Deanna, siblings Kenneth, Dale, Mary Ellen, Donald, and sons-in-law Jerry, Jim and Don. She is survived by her children Carolyn (Rod) Jones, Pamela (Warren) Ballard, Linda (Rodney) Frunz, Alana Randall, Janis Doyle, Gina (Mike) Miller, Tammie McArdle, Mary (Joey) DenHartog, Mark Butenschoen and Scott (Janet) Butenschoen, 23 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, Mick’s wife Myrna Butenschoen, sister Donna Mae and many loving relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Mt. Baker Care Center for the heartfelt care and love they have given to Shirley. Viewing to be Thursday, February 3 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Westford Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Saturday, February 5 at 11 AM.
