Bellingham, WA

Shirley Ann Gallagher, age 83, passed away on June 24, 2024, after a long illness.

Along with her love of travel, she became an avid golfer. She and her husband, Bob, golfed about twice a week, many times in Canada as the border was only 20 miles from their home. Twice they golfed their way across the country while visiting friends and relatives who they hadn’t seen in many years. They belonged to the Juneau Golf Club in Juneau, AK and played in their annual tournaments for several years.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Helen Wasielewski. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Bob Gallagher, daughters Karin Parsons and Tracy (Rick) Gilmore, and granddaughter Jacklyn. Survivors also include stepchildren Bob Jr., Renee (Tom) Childers, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She will be laid to rest at Bayview Cemetery following a private service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley’s honor to the charity of your choosing.
