Shirley M. Moldenhauer

Shirley Moldenhauer, age 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 14, 2015 in Bellingham. She was born May 11, 1924 in Seattle, WA to Harry and Anna Fritz.
Shirley graduated from Lincoln High School and married Milton O. Moldenhauer on July 21, 1943. Shirley worked for Whatcom County in the Sheriff and Auditor’s offices. She was a member of the Whatcom County Art Guild and won numerous awards for her paintings. She was always pleasant and friendly to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her husband Milton in 2008 and her sister Francis. She is survived by her daughter Rita (Patrick) Hughes, son Roy Moldenhauer, grandchildren Blair (Shane) Clement, Brent Moldenhauer and Tara (Ramon) Gallegos, great-grandchildren Maria and Jaden, and many loving relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home at 3 PM on Friday, August 21st.
