Susan Diane Hanowell

Sue passed away unexpectedly. She was loved by many and will forever be in our hearts. Sue graduated from Meridian High School, got married, had a dairy farm, got divorced, worked a few odd jobs, then, in 2006, started taking care of her niece Erica’s kids. This is where Mr. Chance man became the light of her every day. Sue leaves behind her parents, Richard and Patricia Hanowell; two sons, James (Yolanda) and Ben (Abbie) Ball; siblings, Steve (Connie), Dixie (Rick), Dawn (Jim), and Dan Hanowell; grandkids, Brandi, Aiden, Teagan, and Tatum; great-grandson Jesse; and many nieces and nephews. Rest in peace Susie.
Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. So loved, so missed, so very dear.
A celebration of her life will be Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 1:30pm-4:30pm at the Rome Grange (2821 Mt. Baker Hwy, Bellingham, WA 98226).
