Sylvia Marie Swanson

Sylvia Swanson, age 68, passed away peacefully at home in Bellingham on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. She was born on May 9, 1948 in Auburn, WA to Wayne and Lily Williams. She married Herman Swanson in Ferndale on August 21, 1976. Sylvia loved children and ran a home daycare for over 10 years. She also worked in food service in the Bellingham Public Schools for many years. Sylvia was passionate about knitting, crocheting, sewing, and recently quilting. In recent months she had a great sense of humor and she will be dearly missed. She was predeceased by her parents. Sylvia is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Herman, son Eric, daughter Sara (companion Chris), grandchildren Riley, Alexis, Bayani and Sofia, sister Vicki Sagaral, her favorite daughter “scooter the cat” and many loving relatives and friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 14th at 11 AM. Reception following.
