Thelma Stasinos, age 98, passed away on January 18, 2023 in Bellingham, Washington. Thelma was born in Chehalis, WA on December 7, 1924 to parents Lefteris and Stavroula (Geika) Peters. Thelma was warm, friendly and outgoing. She had a sassy sense of humor and her family was always laughing in her presence. Family was everything to Thelma and they all loved listening to her stories. She made everyone feel at home, everybody loved her, and she will be dearly missed. Thelma is survived by her sister Helen Griffin, brother-in-law George (Louise) Stasinos, niece Kathy Capp and her sons Cade and his sons Jaxon and Griffin and Cole (Kenneth), niece Voula (Tim) Parks and their children Kallee (Justin) and their sons Robby, Levi and Zakhary, Loree Foote and her daughter Rylee; Jaimee (Gabe) Twining and their daughters Chloe and Emily, granddaughter Stephanie (Manuel) Osborn and their children Tanner his sons Connor and Blake, Hailee (Zach), Kaytee (fiancé Tanner), and Madison and many loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Stasinos, son Harry “Bobby” Stasinos, and her great-nephew Cade Capp’s son Benny. Memorials may be made to St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 510 E. Sunset Dr. Bellingham, WA 98225. A Trisagion prayer service will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 6:00pm at Westford Funeral Home.
