Thomas Michael Clark

December 21, 1955 — October 31, 2016

Tom Clark, age 60, was called to be with his Lord and Savior on October 31, 2016. He was born December 21, 1955 in Bellingham to Richard “Dick” Clark and Ellen “Jane” Mabbott.

He graduated from Bellingham High School in 1974 and married his high school sweetheart, Janet Hedman on June 28, 1980. Tom was passionate about spreading the gospel and spent 20 years serving people along the Amazon River through JungleMaster Ministries. He was a real life MacGyver who was often sought out for his wisdom (both mechanical and spiritual). Tom will be remembered as a dreamer, an inventor and a believer. He was overflowing with faith and compassion for others and was a devoted husband, father and brother.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law Larry Thaut.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Janet, four children, Kelsey, Eli, Hannah and Tessa Bailey (husband Jared), sister Sandra Abrams, brother Richard C. Clark (wife Karen), sisters Judy Thaut and Caroline Baldie (husband Brian), brother John Clark (wife Nancy), and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Cornwall Church, 4518 Northwest Dr. in Bellingham at 1 PM on Monday, November 7th.
