Thomas Kendall, age 65, passed away at home in Lynden on April 24, 2018. He was born February 9, 1953 in Sacramento, CA to Thomas and Mary (Mendonsa) Kendall. He was a star baseball pitcher at Davis Senior High School and later played professionally in Canada and Ecuador. Tom loved music and played bass guitar. He had a unique sense of humor and enjoyed watching comedies and stand-up. Some of his family called him “Eddie”, a reference to Eddie Haskell of Leave it to Beaver. Tom was an excellent salesman and a top performer for Rice Lake Weighing Systems, which is based in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. He was a devoted family man and he dearly loved his family and grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his loving wife Amara, mother Mary Creswell, children Renee Kendall-Sanchez (husband Eustaquio), Sokunthy Chhim and Jay Black (husband Curran), grandchildren Christian, Benjamin and Mikaela, Hayden and Peyton, brother Tim Kendall, sisters Theresa and Toni Kendall, and many loving relatives and friends. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at Westford Funeral Home, 1301 Broadway St. in Bellingham at 1 PM on Friday, May 4th.
