Tom Lewis, age 78 passed away peacefully in Bellingham on Thursday, May 9, 2013. He was born July 14, 1934 in Vienna, MD to Russell and Alma Lewis.  He married Angela Mantheiy on May 14, 1966 in Maryland. Tom served our country in the U.S. Army. He worked for Campbell Soup in Sacramento, CA and later moved to Walla Walla where he owned and operated The Fashion Care Center.   Tom was passionate about baseball and he played, coached, umpired and watched baseball his entire life.  He could be considered to be the Baltimore Orioles #1 fan. Tom was always friendly and kind to others and his greatest joy was being a dad and grandpa.  He was preceded in death by sister Sylvia Reid and brother David Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Angela, son Tom (wife Trisha) Lewis and their children Hannah, Thomas,  Jenna and Colby, sisters Pat (husband Art) Wilkerson, Judy (husband Bobby) Townsend and Della Rae Wheeler.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Assumption in Bellingham on Monday, May 20th at 10:30 AM.  A celebration of Tom’s life will be held in Walla Walla later this summer.
