Timothy Randall

February 29, 1968 — June 20, 2013

02/29/1968 ~ 06/20/2013
Timothy Christopher Randall was born on February 29th, 1968 to Joseph Charles Randall and Susan Kathy Joyce in Huntington, NY. He grew up in Northport, Long Island, NY until moving in 1981 with his mother, stepfather, John Francis Downey and younger brother Kevin, to Mission Viejo, CA where he lived for the remainder of his childhood. He excelled as a child in the visual arts and won many awards for his drawing. Tim worked as a graphic designer through out his twenties and early thirties, and was an incredible musician and singer. He actively participated in the music scene throughout California and the North West, until ultimately residing in Bellingham, WA. Tim’s passion for music and ongoing career in that world has left us with numerous great works which will be cherished by many. Tim suffered from fibromyalgia which caused him a great deal of physical pain in recent years, and in 2004 he was diagnosed with the gene for Huntington’s disease. In 2012 he began to suffer symptoms.
A man of true character and integrity, Tim was both kind and generous. His heartwarming laugh was contagious and his friends were countless. Tim had an incredible voice, was deeply contemplative and questioned everything. He was always singing, and is still singing now. Timothy Christopher Randall will be greatly missed by the many who loved him.
Donations can be made in Tim’s honor to the Huntington’s disease Society of America through their website at www.hdsa.org .
A memorial service and celebration of Tim will take place on July 7th, at 2pm at Wardlow Park in Long Beach, CA.
