Ty Laine Malone

December 20, 1994 — June 6, 2019

Ty L Malone, age 24 of Everson, passed away unexpectedly in Bellingham, WA on Thursday, June 6, 2019. He was born in Bellingham on December 20, 1994 to Britt L. Malone and Rachel A. (Vanderhorst) Heaps. Ty attended Whatcom County Schools and graduated from Nooksack High school in 2013. He worked for Safelite Auto Glass in Everett, WA, employed as an auto glass technician before he moved back to his family's home in Everson.

Ty enjoyed the outdoors. He loved camping and had boasted about a recent camping trip he took with his father to Baker Lake. Among the other activities he loved were motorcycle riding, traveling, hiking, spending time on the rivers as well as floating them. In the winter you could also find Ty snowboarding. He was always up to going to Mt. Baker with his friends or his uncle Adam. He also had many family trips to Silver Mountain in Idaho snowboarding the slopes and enjoying family time.

Ty also had a passion and talent for music. He had written and professionally recorded many rap songs on sound cloud as well as some amazing duets with the love of his life Emily Drew. Ty was a beautiful soul who shined so bright and was always the life of the party. His quick wit and humor gifted him with many lifelong friends and acquaintances. With these talents he could walk into a room full of strangers and walk out with many new friends and laughter.

Ty had so much love for all of his family and friends and spending time with them. Especially with his brother Gage, where you would find them playing basketball at the Everson Park or just laying low to play video games. Ty loved the fact that his brother could drive him around and they spent adventurous days at Whatcom Falls Park and the river. Ty had a very special bond with his late grandfather Richard. The first of his grandchildren whom he and his mother would travel to many places in his VW bus, digging fossils in Oregon, going to family reunions at Glacier park in Montana. He would visit his grandfather often just to see how he was doing. He had so much love for his aunt and uncle Joe and Lisa Malone and his cousins Makayla, Darrien, Parker, Kobee and Haylee Malone. We are filled with so many endless pictures of their life long bond and experiences. Ty also had Brent, Shawna Sidney and Brittani Zwiers as a big part of his life. Including many memorable Halloween parties and BBQ's.

His endless supply of friends has blessed us with so many fond memories. David, Brandon, Jr, Tucker, Cody, Scott, Joe, Linda, Russ, Jennifer, Dani, Emily, Duncan and too many others to mention. Ty has simply touched so many lives in his short time he was with us.

Ty loved his tattoos and his very first "hole hearted" was created to symbolize the hole in his heart he was born with. Now it signifies the holes he has left in the hearts of the people who knew him.

Ty was preceded in death by his cousin Jordan Malone and grandfather James Richard Vanderhorst.

He is survived by his parents, Britt Malone and Rachel (Vanderhorst) and husband Scott Heaps; brother Gage Vanbeek; special friend Emily Drew; grandparents, Linda Vanderhorst, Judy (Kroll) Carl Andreas, and Pat and Jeanie Malone; uncles and aunts, Joe and Lisa Malone, Kevin and Cathy Vanderhorst, Adam Vanderhorst many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.
