Born in Manitoba, Canada on August 16, 1994, Victoria passed away unexpectedly in Bellingham, WA on October 23, 2022. In her early life, she was raised by John and Donna Strickland, who she called Papa Bear and Mamma Bear. She grew up quickly after their untimely deaths, and went on to work for a caregiver cooperative, and later, as an I-502 professional. Victoria had the ability to excel in anything they pursued. She had a truly brilliant, and unique mind.
Victoria also had a passion for living her best life, loud music and getting things done.
She always had plans for the next big adventure whether it was a day on the town, or out camping with the family. As well as being an amazing mother of three, she was a burlesque performer, a feminist, a multi instrumentalist, a certified medical marijuana consultant, a Tetris geek, and an all out genuine person. She was a caretaker, an advocate and the epitome of strength. Though she lived with much pain and loss in her life, she took every opportunity to uplift and support others.
Victoria always looked forward to date nights with her husband followed by going out with her best friends to dance and get late night fries. She encompassed independence by not only being an awesome wife and mother but by unapologetically being her own person, and by following her passions for performance art. Her dancing always involved social commentary as well as creativity. Victoria would put her mind to something and that was it, she would do it. She instilled her core values in her children as well, endlessly supporting their individual personalities and goals. It was important to her to offer them kindness and a comfortable space to communicate. Watching them grow and nurturing their independence gave her immense joy.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Chue; children, Li, Jasmine, and Sage; mother, Crystal Sprong; and close friends/communities.
