Violet Rae Ferry

Violet Ferry, age 81, passed away on June 8, 2018 at St. Francis Extended Healthcare, where she lived the last two years following a stroke. Violet was born on February 14, 1937 in Bellingham to William and Erma (Noice) Pierson. She graduated from Bellingham High School in 1955. Violet enjoyed playing bingo, knitting and crocheting. She was known for welcoming her friends and family into her home. Violet was predeceased by her husband Nicola “Nick” Ferry, her son Glen Steinbach and her brother Ed Pierson. She is survived by her children Sharon Steinbach, Greg (Sharon) Steinbach, Ken Steinbach, Michelle Gates, James “Arnie” (Amy) McAllister and Laureen (Jim) Keough, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren (one more on the way), sisters Verna (Mike) Parrish and Janice (Bob) Pfannenstiel, brother Ken Pierson and many loving relatives and friends.
