Violet B. Weisel, age 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12th at Hospice House in Bellingham, WA. She was born March 25, 1923 at Chalfont, Bucks County, PA, to Robert and Anna A. (Nixon) Graham. She was married to Harry Wesley Weisel, Jr. in 1948. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Harry and Violet together ran Hillcrest Restaurant on their farm near Littlestown, PA, during the 1960s. They were both artistic and enjoyed working on projects together. Violet was an avid quilter, flower crafter, and gardener and was widely known for her pressed flower stationary. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Littlestown and sang in the choir. She was sweet natured and well-loved by many.
Violet lived with her daughter Kathleen Weisel in Bellingham since 1998. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen, sister Roberta Brent of Littlestown, PA, son David C. Weisel of California, and numerous loving family members.
