Celebration of Life:   Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 2 PM at Westford Funeral Home.  Reception to follow.
Ginger Brower, age 62, died in Seattle on August 2, 2010. She was born January 17th 1948 in Altoona, PA to Robert E. & Margaret L. Brower. She was a graduate of Penn State University. Ginger was an Information Architect in Computing & Communications at the University of Washington. Her prior employment was at Stanford’s Linear Acceleraton Center as a writer, trainer, and user consultant.
Ginger was preceded in death by her mother, Peg Brower, and her life partner of twenty years, Greg Keller, who has been missing since October 31, 2009. She is survived by her father Bob Brower of Bellingham; daughter Betsy Knox of Sierra Madre, CA; sisters Peggy Joy (Bob) Sullivan of Woodbridge, VA and Cathy Sue (Steve) Allen of Sumas; nieces Maureen, Debby, and Anna; grand-nephews Sean, Aiden, and Theo; and many cousins who loved her dearly. Resident of Tyrone PA, State College, Los Angeles, Switzerland (La Abri), the Netherlands, Hawaii, Palo Alto, Sumas, Bellingham and Seattle.
She was a voracious reader, a creative thinker with an extraordinary mind that had the ability to look at the world in new ways. She could paint the truth in language and words. Ginger was lively and intelligent with a strong desire to help others. She tried out for clown college, collected gargoyles and dozens of spheres, solved mysteries, and saw into the heart of every person she met.
Memorials may be made to the Snohomish County Search-Rescue, 5506 Old Machias Rd., Snohomish WA  98290, or to your local library.
A Celebration of Ginger’s Life will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Sunday, September 19th at 2:00 PM followed by a reception across the street at Westford’s Broadway Hall.
