Virginia Schrey

Virginia Schrey, of Bellingham, WA, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2018 in Spokane, WA. Virginia was 94, born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 21, 1924 to Julius and Madge Hildenbrand. She spent most of her life in Bellingham, were she was active at Assumption Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters. Virginia dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Virginia touched many lives while on this earth and was known for her wonderful cinnamon rolls and her lifelong love of music and dance. Virginia moved to Spokane two years ago. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Schrey in 1987, son-in-law Calvin T. Marriott in 1997 and is survived by her daughter Virginia Marriott; her son Bob (Holly) Schrey; her grandchildren, Michael (Julie) Marriott, Madeline (Shawn) Sanders, Brent Schrey and Meagan Schrey; and great-grandchildren Gabrielle Sanders and Ashley Sanders; her sister Shirley (Ed) Ormay, and her loving nieces and nephews.
