Ward Steven Parker age 52 has left us way too soon. Born in Seattle, WA to Merwin and Ardelle (Triplett) Parker. Ward lived most of his life in Bellingham, WA and was a graduate of Bellingham High. In his younger days he was a competition motorcycle racer and won many trophies. Using his love of motorcycles he became a repairman and was the go-to person for any repairs to Law Enforcement bikes. Ward was an avid sports fan and never missed watching a Seahawks game or any other sport. He loved the Hydroplanes and he was always in the pits at the Hydroplane races. He built and raced model Hydroplanes and had just been certified to fly model airplanes last week. This was to be his new passion. Ward was preceded in death by his parents Merwin and Ardell, his older brother Merwin IV, grandparents Merwin and Mildred (Coss) Parker and Wilmer and Loraine (Sleasman) Triplett. Survived by his step-mother Martha Haines of Spokane, sister Debbie Safarik of Hawaii, stepsister Gregory Ann Ormsby of Clear Lake, WA, uncle Bob and aunt Myrna Parker of Bellingham as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and too many friends to count including Mike Green. We’ll miss our “Good Son”. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or your favorite charity.
