Wendy S. Kink, age 65 of Bellingham, passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2014 in Bellingham. Wendy was born April 12, 1949 in Bellingham to Ralph and Bernice Lingbloom. Wendy was a vibrant, fun loving, caring woman who loved her family dearly. Her smile would light up a room. Wendy was a very empathetic person who would gladly go above and beyond to help anyone in need. She enjoyed working in her garden, antiquing and making children happy. Growing up on Lake Whatcom fostered Wendy’s great love of the outdoors, especially the water. She went on to spend lots of time camping and boating. Wendy struggled with serious back pain for most of her adult life. It kept her from fully enjoying the things she loved. Wendy was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Bernice Lingbloom and her brother Joey Lingbloom. She is survived by her husband Mitch Kink Jr., children Kristie Blake, Ron Koetje (Sue Manchester), Jamie (Joel) Schwindt and Megan (Matt) Katzenberg, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sisters Jackie Erickson-Bowler and Sandy Lingbloom, brothers Tom Lingbloom, Craig Lingbloom and Bill Lingbloom, and many loving family members. Visitation will be held at Westford Funeral Home from 2-4 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
