William “Bill” George Brough, of Bellingham, WA, passed away at his home on Thursday, December 4, 2014. Bill was 71, born in Albany, NY on July 3, 1943 to Dennis and Pauline (Black) Brough.
He served in the US Army in Viet Nam between 1960 and 1964 and later was a long haul truck driver. Bill also drove truck for several local businesses.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Brough; step-daughter Linda Stewart, and granddaughter Amy Washburn. He is survived by his wife Mary; step-son, Ron (Julie) Stewart; grandchildren, Tim (Angela) Stewart and Allison (Tyler) Mitchell; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Brough and 4 brothers, Dennis, Jack, Charles, and Bobby Brough.
A celebration gathering will be held Monday, December 15th at 2:00 p.m. at the Broadway Hall in Bellingham. A private committal was held at Greenacres Memorial Park. You may share your memories of Bill at
