William "Bill" D'Aoust

Bill D'Aoust, 104, of Bellingham, WA passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at his home surrounded by family and friends.
His happiest times were when he was teaching. He stayed in touch with many of his students from Shuksan and BTC. He enjoyed life to the fullest and always was ready to tell one of his sea stories. Bill never met a stranger and they always left with a smile on their face.
He will be missed by so many including his daughters, Kathy and Michelle; grandchildren, Jon, Jason, and Adam; great-grandkids Tyler, Myami, and Mister William.
He will be fondly remembered by his dear friend, Janet Mead, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In the last 3 years, he was cared for full time by his daughter, Kathy Davis, and good friend, Anne Woodell.
There will be no memorial as per dad’s request.
